A gift that keeps on giving...

One of my students, Kevin Zweerink, gave me this stamp he designed as a gift before he graduated this year. It was unnecessary - considering he has been an amazing student that has moved far beyond my expectations - but definitely made me feel appreciated. I guess students don't realize that their effort & success is all we need and we - as educators - sometimes forget that providing quality instruction is all a student needs.

Skull Appreciation Day skull revisited...

I ended up revisiting the below sculpture before the Skull Appreciation Day exhibition: an exhibition of 100 paper-mâché skulls modified by 100 artists.

New Work: IWW image redesign and Vegan Action ad

I was asked to redesign this image for shirts - which was done using various halftones (not featured above). During this process, we decided to change the bottom cat to a tabby instead of a plain white cat.
