New Work: "Iran Man"

“Iran Man” Again, based on Persian geometric patterning complete with Persian cat and kabob powered weaponry with beard/mustache helmet design and tunic style garb from below the waist. The actual design looks more like he is wearing an amored dress. This is based off of the Persian immortal soldier’s dress.

New Work: BARTKIRA EXHIBITION

You can purchase this BARTKIRA print I made starting November 7th at Velocity Comics (819a W Broad Street Richmond, VA). The exhibit opens 7-9PM. There is going to be a lot of phenomenal artwork done by artists included in the BARTKIRA project like, Rawn Gandy, whos poster image is pictured above!

"Experience the art storm that is… BARTKIRA! Featuring a selection of art from the massive project that has shaken Springfield to its very core!"

What is BARTKIRA?
Bartkira is a community art project in which hundreds of artists from all over the world are collaborating to recreate all six volumes of Akira, replacing all the characters with the cast of the Simpsons.

Pod Cast: Little Red Fish and other stories.

I was invited to do this podcast with Making Comics were I chat about a few things. You can check it out here.

After hearing it again, there are a few things I stated that are incorrect. My apologies for that. I made a mistake on the city my friend Cody Miles lives in and I use the incorrect gender pronoun for Nong Toom a couple times.

The LIttle Red Fish is out!

My Little Red Fish comic is out digitally for now. It will be available in print October 11th! You can see a sneak preview here: LittleRedFishComic.com as well as purchase a digital copy here

I have a Little Red Fish art opening of original art, prints, and banners Oct 3rd. I will be tabling the event with all kinds of goodies including copies of Autumn Haynes amazing pinup illustration that you see above.

The following day I will be at the Richmond Zine Fest with prints, skateboards, comics and more. The zine fest will be held October 4th, 11AM-5PM at Gay Community Center of Richmond (1407 Sherwood Ave, Richmond, Virginia 23220).
