Hello all. So a few articles have been published about my work recently. Below is the list and info.

Article that I wrote on the Golden Ratio for Making Comics. You can read the article here. From Making Comics: “It is important to recognize that composition within panels helps the reading flow just as much as the gutters and layout of the overall page. I also focus especially on the use of diagonals. They are an easy way to make the comic dynamic during points in the story that can come across as bland without them.” Stuck on laying out a page? This article by Bizhan Khodabandeh, drawing techniques related to the Golden ratio, may help.

The Society of Illustrators has officially posted their Comics and Cartooning annual winners. You an see an article about the winners here. I won a Silver Medal for the bellow strip.

Little Nemo

This is the piece that I submitted late in the game to the book "Little Nemo: Dream Another Dream" put out by Locust Moon. It didn't make it in the book, but I still wanted to share the quickly thrown together comic (click to enlarge). Enjoy.

Original drawings and Kickstarter!

Above are some images of originals from my blog formatted infinite canvas comic Kickstarter Project,  but I also wanted to talk to you about making sure this project gets funded.

I did the math. I only have a week and a half left. The most popular levels of contribution are $5 and $25. I need 152 more people to donate $25 to reach my goal. That isn't unreasonable, but I've probably maxed out my contacts. At $5 pledges, I need 760 people. I don't know 760 people and am not famous enough to have a following that large.

So I really really really would love if all of you could help extend my reach to your friends and fans. I literally can't do it without your help. It doesn't matter if your reach isn't huge. It all helps.

Silver Medal for my strip "Finding Time"

I was recently notified that I won a Silver Medal for the bellow strip through the Society of Illustrator's new Comics and Cartooning Annual. They haven't posted the winners yet, but you can check out their site here.
